About the Role

Are you looking for a flexible on-call position with the opportunity to work year-round, day or night? We would like you to be available for work both weekdays and weekends, with the possibility of full-time work during the summer. Your contribution will be particularly important during the summer periods when our need for staff is greatest.

We are looking for security guards to protect critical operations for Sweden. This is a role for those who are not just looking for a job – but are ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our country's supply and security. It's about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round.

The work is varied and can include both stationary and patrolling security, access controls, or work in a security center. You will need to make your own decisions in critical situations, have good endurance, and stable judgment. Therefore, we are looking for a person who has the ability to remain calm when others do not – and is loyal to Swedish interests.

Security guard duties are performed both indoors and outdoors, day and night. The length of shifts varies, but is often scheduled in 12-hour shifts according to a rolling schedule. Since we work in an operation that is active every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

The position includes, among other things, that you:

• Protect critical operations from unauthorized access and other threats
• Perform checks according to applicable regulations and instructions
• Collaborate with staff and authorities on security issues

Requirements

• You need to be a trained security guard, civilian or military, with valid approval.
• Have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English
• Class B driver's license
• You need to undergo and be approved in a security clearance as the position involves placement in a security class
• You need to undergo weapons training with a passing result

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Previous experience in guarding protected objects, other security work, or security services
• Underwent extensive security clearances
• Weapons training

Clarification for you as a military security guard: If you have completed security guard training with the Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces' basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training, as well as GMU, must have been completed in 2016 or later, and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application. You should have the documentation ready in your application, as it may take time to request from the Armed Forces.

We are looking for a person with integrity, maturity, and the ability to take responsibility – both for their own and others' safety.

Security Clearance

Please note that the position is classified in a security class and means that you will undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to current regulations, security interviews, background checks, and record checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities according to the Security Police's regulations and guidelines. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment of you, your life situation, and financial circumstances when evaluating your suitability.

In applicable cases, a corresponding check may be made of those you live with or have a similar relationship with.

To be considered for the position, it is therefore required (at a minimum) that;

• You are not listed in the Police Authority's various registers, e.g., suspect register, criminal record, etc.
• You have organized finances; do not have payment remarks, unresolved debts, or are listed with collection agencies or the Enforcement Authority
