JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description

The operation is responsible for ensuring that individuals with functional variations receive support and care to live as independently as possible. In your work with us, it is important to meet each person, to see each individual, and to communicate and be attentive to needs and interests. The individual's areas of need are described in an implementation plan.

Job responsibilities also include documentation in our documentation system, Lifecare, as well as performing health and medical tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse.

Work hours are distributed across days, evenings/nights, weekends, and night shifts.

Group Homes

There are currently six different group homes within Vimmerby town. In a group home, 4-6 individuals live in their own apartments. These individuals require close proximity to staff around the clock. The work largely involves supporting individuals to live as independently as possible. This may include cooking, assisting with personal hygiene, shopping together with the individual, etc.

Service Housing

There are currently three different service housing options within Vimmerby town. Service housing is an intermediate form between completely independent living in one's own apartment and a group home. Each service housing has a number of apartments associated with it. Working in service housing means providing support and motivation in the individual's own home based on the individual's implementation plan.

Daily Activities

Within daily activities, we offer meaningful employment for individuals under LSS, contributing to personal development and promoting participation in society.

The operation is conducted with various focuses to suit the individual person. Consideration is given based on the individual's circumstances. Work hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

Short-term/Recreational Care

Work with children and youth who have functional variations. The operation is conducted to meet the basic needs for supervision, rest, movement, activity, meals, and other care tailored to functional variations and age. The operation is staffed around the clock, with work hours distributed across days/evenings/nights/weekends and pure night shifts.

Personal Assistance

Working as a personal assistant means supporting and motivating the individual in their home. The work largely involves supporting individuals to live as independently as possible. This may include cooking, assisting with personal hygiene, shopping together with the individual, etc.

Working alone is common when working as a personal assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is at least 18 years old
• Has education in Nursing Program, Leisure Leader Education, Child and Leisure Program, Treatment Pedagogue Education, or equivalent education.
• Experience in the field is an advantage.
• Class B driver's license is desirable.

In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the position. As a person, you are responsible and flexible, have a service-oriented approach, and a positive attitude with a good and respectful demeanor. It is important that you can work independently while also having good collaboration skills. The work also requires documentation, so you must be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. If you speak another language, that is a plus.
