About the Position

We are looking for someone seeking a long-term part-time job, who can work 1-3 shifts a week alongside their studies, own business, or sports commitment. During the summer, full-time work is offered, and there is also extra work available around holidays.

As a warehouse employee in the fresh produce department at Dagab's central warehouse in Hisings Backa, you play a crucial role in ensuring that food reaches its destination – on time and with the right quality – to stores such as Willys, Hemköp, and Tempo across the country. It is an important mission where your contribution makes a difference every day.

Don't have a forklift license? No problem, you will be trained on-site at Dagab! The work primarily takes place in the fresh produce department. This means you will mainly work in +4 degrees, but work may also occur in other departments with different temperatures, including the freezer department where it is -26 degrees.

Job Responsibilities

As a warehouse employee at Dagab, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Picking and packing orders - You will complete orders according to the stores' requests. The work is done with the help of a forklift and pick-by-voice (a voice-controlled picking system that helps you pick correctly).

In the long term, other tasks may also become relevant.

Working Hours

In this role, you primarily work day shifts on weekdays, but weekend work may also be required.

Day shift hours: 06:00 AM - 02:45 PM

Start Date 📅

The position starts in week 10 with a mandatory full-time training for two weeks. The training is paid and takes place Monday to Friday during daytime, approximately from 06:00 AM - 02:45 PM.

Employment Type 🤝

This position is a part-time job where you will primarily be scheduled for work week by week in consultation with our Team Leader on-site.

About Dagab

Dagab creates, stores, and delivers the assortment to the Axfood group's chains such as Hemköp, Willys, City Gross, Snabbgross, Urban Deli, and Apohem. They also develop their own brands, including Garant, Eldorado, and Såklart.

Requirements and QualitiesRequirements ✅
  • You must be at least 18 years old

  • Available for work 1-3 shifts per week

  • Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form

  • Have another main occupation of at least 50% (for example, studying, sports, running your own business, or other work that you can verify with documentation)

Meritorious 💪
  • Forklift license A1-4

  • Work experience from warehousing, logistics, or similar

  • Previous experience in physical work

  • It is a plus if you have been or are active in any sport

You have a positive attitude and enjoy taking responsibility, whether it involves respecting schedules, maintaining quality, or achieving set goals. You are comfortable being followed up on your performance and are motivated by receiving clear feedback on a job well done.

To thrive in this role, good physical health is required, as you will perform repeated lifting, so it is important to work in an ergonomically correct manner and appreciate staying active.

Your ability to collaborate and contribute to a good atmosphere in the group is important – regardless of differences in perspective, culture, background, or language. You should also enjoy working independently in the warehouse, as you will move over large areas with limited social contacts while performing your tasks. Other personal qualities will also be considered.
