Caregiver for Social Psychiatric Residence in Hallstavik

About the Position

We are looking for someone interested in working as a caregiver at our social psychiatric residence Skärsta in Hallstavik.

The position is a permanent employment at 75%. The work involves scheduled working hours that are allocated during days, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.

As a caregiver at the residence, you will help develop the residents' skills with the goal that they can manage as much as possible independently in their daily lives. Motivational interviewing is used as a natural part of the dialogue to support the resident in prioritized development. You will be part of a wonderful team of eight employees.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Support the resident in developing independence in daily life.
• Create safety by considering social, psychological, and cognitive factors.
• Document and establish implementation plans in social journals.
• Collaborate with management, colleagues, nurses, caseworkers, relatives, and other important contacts.
• Provide support with shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and doctor visits.
• Assist with official contacts and social support.
• Provide personal care.
• Work according to assignments from caseworkers.

About Our Offer:

About You

For this position, you need:

• Caregiver education or other equivalent training.
• Driver's license and driving experience.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in similar work.
• Knowledge and previous experience of Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC).
• Documentation experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues and autism.

You are good at collaborating, have a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in doing your best for those in need of support. With an empathetic approach and a positive view of people, you meet others with respect and kindness. You are stable, secure, and possess personal maturity that contributes to creating calm in the daily lives of those you help. Through your ability to take initiative, you actively contribute to ongoing work. We would also appreciate an interest in digital development opportunities. The residence consists of ten apartments and common areas for comfort, activities, and social interaction, complemented by a shared outdoor space. The workgroup consists of eight employees.
