We are looking for you as a caregiver who wants to help deliver the best possible health care to our patients this summer. We offer a good introduction and an individual development plan for your continuous professional development.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a caregiver, preferably with a background as a nursing assistant with 200 points in psychiatry or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Previous experience in psychiatric care is also considered an asset. As a caregiver, you contribute to good care and high patient safety.


Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You have a high level of empathy, a professional approach, and good patient interaction. Your working style is characterized by initiative, independence, and clear communication. You find it easy to collaborate and adapt to changing circumstances. Putting the patient at the center and treating others with respect is a given for you.


This is what you will work with: Psychiatric care is the focus, which may also include somatic care where patient-centered care and a holistic view are important starting points. Family and network work play a central role in our daily work, and the participation and safety of the patient and their relatives are important. You will have an important role in planning together with the patient and your care team. Documentation is an essential part of the work, as well as being involved in the development of care work in the department. Support and guide the patient in ADL (activities of daily living). Assist during meals. Take samples, assess patients (depending on education/experience). Answer the phone. Mail handling. Collaborate with neighboring care units.

Information about the position: The positions are summer temporary jobs, full-time or part-time, from May to September, and working hours are determined by the operations. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and positions may be filled before the application deadline, with start dates according to agreement. Due to the nature of the operations and safety requirements, applicants must be prepared to provide a criminal record extract.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
