JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an environmental inspector in the environmental protection group, you will work with supervision of environmentally hazardous activities and contribute to protecting both the environment and public health. The assignment involves planning, carrying out, and following up on supervision cases according to the Environmental Code, focusing on legal security, quality, and dialogue.
Your role includes conducting inspections, assessing compliance with applicable legislation, and documenting and making decisions. You communicate requirements and assessments clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and follow up to ensure that decisions and actions are implemented.
You also have an important advisory role where you guide operators and respond to questions from the public. The work is characterized by independent responsibility, while you also collaborate closely with colleagues within the environmental protection group and other parts of the organization. Together, you contribute to the development of working methods, experience exchange, and effective supervision.

Experience with similar tasks and good knowledge of the Environmental Code is an advantage.
To succeed in this role, you are confident in making objective assessments, setting clear requirements, and making decisions with integrity. You have good communication skills and can build trusting relationships with both operators and the public. You are flexible and can easily adapt to different situations, while also working in a structured way and can plan and prioritize your work effectively.
You thrive in a role where you take personal responsibility and initiative, but also value collaboration and experience exchange with colleagues. You express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
