The Community Building Administration offers creative conversations, a fast pace, solution-focused working methods, and gives you the opportunity to drive and participate in changing community building processes. We are a collaborative administration between Hällefors, Lindesberg, Ljusnarsberg, and Nora municipalities with a broad mandate within the municipalities' community building processes.

The administration consists of three main areas of operation: technical operations, planning and projects, and building and environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an environmental inspector within the health protection group, you will handle cases related to individual sewage systems and health protection. We value diverse competencies, allowing for varied focus based on personal qualifications. Your work will include preparing and conducting inspections, providing information, writing reports/decisions, and following up on requirements, measures, and decisions.

You will have an advisory role where you provide guidance to both operators and the public. The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues within the work group and other units.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant scientific university education, such as an environmental and health protection inspector or environmental scientist. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and ensuring you fit into our work group. Experience with similar tasks and good knowledge of the Environmental Code is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you are confident in making objective assessments, setting clear requirements, and making decisions with integrity. You have strong communication skills and can build trusting relationships with both operators and the public. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different situations are important traits, as well as a structured approach to planning and prioritizing your work effectively. You thrive in a role where you can take your own initiatives but also appreciate collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues. Furthermore, you should be able to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
