We at Attendo are now looking for a part-time licensed nurse for our facility Nissastrand in Halmstad. Nissastrand is a special accommodation with 72 places, of which 30 are dementia places. The accommodation consists of four floors with two departments on each floor, except for the first floor which has only one department.

About the role As a nurse in our accommodation, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to increase the quality of life for the residents, but you will also be the one making assessments and decisions about actions in acute situations. You are responsible for documenting according to legislation. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more healthcare interventions at a specialized level take place in the accommodation. This gives you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. You have a guiding role with great opportunities to influence the operations.

As a nurse within Attendo, you are significant and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent while you have access to several competent colleagues in the accommodation and in our nursing networks. You are part of the team working to empower the individual.

Main responsibilities

• Medication management

• Working in national quality registers

• Documentation

• Guidance of nursing staff

• Nursing responsibility for patients

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy guiding and delegating nursing staff in healthcare tasks and are motivated by creating high-quality care together with your colleagues for those who live with us. You have high IT maturity and navigate easily in various digital systems.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse

• At least three years of professional experience, preferably in elderly care

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

• Driving license B

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience from working in private care operations

• Experience in guidance

• Education in geriatrics or district nursing.
