Alvesta Energi AB delivers electricity and district heating to households and businesses in Alvesta and surrounding areas. We are 20 employees working to produce, purchase, distribute, and sell district heating, as well as manage, build, and operate network operations for electrical installations. We also aim to offer our customers products and services related to energy balance with the ambition of 100% secure deliveries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• New installation and reconstruction of the electrical grid
• Fault correction
• Preventive maintenance
• Repair of low and medium voltage installations, cable cabinets, and distribution stations
• Installation of meters and measuring equipment for electricity and district heating.
• Cable showing
• On-call duty may be included as part of the job.

To thrive in the role of electrician, you have a genuine interest in the electrical power industry, enjoy varied tasks, and working outdoors.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have relevant electrical engineering education at the high school level, preferably with a focus on electrical power, or another equivalent vocational training. A few years of professional experience is required in a similar industry. Knowledge of automation is an advantage. A Class B driver's license is required, and you need to have good computer skills.

As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and have good communication skills. You enjoy a mix of independent work and collaborating with colleagues to find solutions that benefit our operations and our customers. Since on-call duty may occur, you must be able to travel from home to the workplace within a reasonable time. In addition to your technical skills, we place great importance on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who can remain calm and decisive even in stressful situations, with a genuine interest and commitment to technology, service, and customers. You have good teamwork skills and are motivated by achieving results together with others.
