Seasonal Staff for the Restaurant – Hotel Skansen Öland

Hotel Skansen Öland is a hotel, spa, conference, and restaurant facility in constant development – we want more!

With us, everyday life meets celebration, weddings, and large events – and as an extra touch, we are also proud to host one of the world's largest whisky bars. This creates a unique atmosphere and provides our guests – and our staff – with a workplace that truly stands out.

We have:

• 78 hotel rooms
• Several conference rooms (up to about 250 guests)
• Spa area with 6 treatment rooms and relaxation
• Outdoor pool
• Dining rooms and banquet hall with seating for up to about 650 guests

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is cheerful, positive, and loves meeting people
• Has an infectious smile and a passion for service
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can keep a cool head in stressful situations
• Is a team player with a positive attitude towards both guests and colleagues
• Can see the big picture and take responsibility
• Is at least 17 years old

If you have education or experience in service or restaurants, it is a plus – but your attitude is the most important.

About the position

As a waitress/waiter with us, you are always the face of the restaurant. You work to create a memorable overall experience for our guests and have the opportunity to work with:

• Lunch service
• À la carte
• Bar
• Events and weddings

The positions run from mid-June to mid-August. Some positions extend from May to September. Additionally, there is an opportunity to work evenings and weekends earlier in the spring.
