We are now looking for a Machine Operator for Loading in Aitik, Boliden

Your role

As a machine operator, you will be part of a larger context and work with mining ore and waste rock. In this role, you will spend your days handling rock in the form of loading. The assignment is carried out both individually and together with your closest colleagues in the shift team, as well as in collaboration with other departments within production.

The position is located at our open-pit mine Aitik and the working hours are scheduled according to the K3 format - which means morning, afternoon, off week, night, off week.

Your tasks:

• Load material from excavator to haul truck.
• Ensure that production meets quality requirements and timelines.
• Follow safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.

Your contribution:

We are looking for someone who has the ability to be flexible and takes responsibility in all work tasks, where safety is always at the center. You have a methodical and careful working style. Furthermore, it is of great importance that you communicate effectively and clearly and enjoy working both independently and in a team.

Aitik is leading in the autonomous process and the role of machine operator will develop - we are looking for someone who is curious and interested in following us in the development we are facing.

To be qualified for the role, you have…

• High school education.
• Previous experience with heavy machinery, preferably wheel loaders/excavators.
• Communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Driver's license (for at least three years).

It is an advantage if you have experience handling several different machines such as excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, and forklifts.
