Are you a confident and experienced leader looking to take the next step in your career? Do you want a broad and significant role where you are responsible for both people and production? Then we at JGA can offer you an exciting opportunity.

As the Department Manager for the planing mill and machining at our sawmill in Linneryd, you will be responsible for two of our production departments. You will be part of the company's management team and report directly to the production manager. Within the group, there are three other department managers with similar responsibilities, and together you will drive development forward with a common goal - to promote a long-term, sustainable, and profitable development of our production operations.

In this role, you have full responsibility for the planing mill and machining. You will lead and develop the staff, be responsible for workplace safety tasks, and drive budget work as well as monitoring and developing production.

About you

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in personnel responsibility and workplace safety issues, preferably from the manufacturing industry. You have worked with change management and production efficiency and have a genuine interest in leadership. You are confident in your role, stand firm in your values, and lead with clarity through changes.

As a person, you are attentive, humble, and unpretentious. You are good at listening, creating engagement, and building trusting relationships. With a combination of humility and clarity, you lead both individuals and teams towards long-term goals. You are structured, solution-oriented, and plan your work thoughtfully. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability, as we are looking for a manager who is passionate about people and sustainable leadership.

About the position

We offer a developing and varied role where you have great opportunities to influence and contribute to both your own and the business's development. With us, you will have secure employment conditions, support from engaged colleagues, and a working environment where quality and long-term thinking characterize everyday life. We look forward to welcoming a new manager who wants to help drive the continued development forward.
