About the job:

As a modernization technician at ALT Hiss, you will work on replacing major parts of elevators, such as doors, motors, cables, and elevator cars. You will also update electrical controls and, if necessary, replace machinery and door trolleys. The work is both physically and technically demanding and involves significant responsibility – therefore, we are looking for someone who is confident in making decisions and solving problems on-site. You need to be able to plan, execute, and complete the work independently while maintaining good collaboration with both colleagues and customers. You will work with elevators of various brands, making the job both varied and developing.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with experience in both electrical and mechanical work, preferably with a couple of years of experience in elevator modernization, installation, or repair. You are a self-driven, solution-oriented, and responsible person who can take initiative and drive the work forward – even when circumstances change.

You thrive in a role where you have a lot of freedom while being meticulous, service-oriented, and easy to collaborate with in a team. To succeed in this role, it is also important that you are structured, communicative, and have a strong focus on safety.
