Become our new Operations Manager for Warehouse and Goods Reception in Ørje

Flexit is the market leader in residential ventilation in Norway, with a strong position in the construction industry and a solid brand built since its inception in 1974. We have clear growth ambitions and are investing heavily in both product development, new market opportunities, and excellent customer experiences, with everything it requires, including good warehouse management and goods flow.

Currently, 25 employees work at our main warehouse in Ørje. In addition to warehouse operations, we also have our channel production here. Our warehouse was expanded and modernized in 2023, which means we are equipped for the future.

As an operations manager, you will be an important resource and supportive actor for all our warehouse employees in close collaboration with our warehouse and production manager. We need a leader who can be present and strengthen the daily operations, support our employees in practical work, and actively contribute to creating a good, inclusive, and developing work environment.

Responsibilities

· Plan and allocate tasks for effective daily operations based on our goals.

· Personnel responsibility with what is required for ongoing follow-up and development of employees.

· Maintain and further develop our warehouse management system [Warehouse Management System].

· Continuous development and improvement of work routines.

· Implement, revise, and further develop our practices for lean and continuous improvement [5S].

· Contribute to the work with HSE and risk assessments.

· Implement and follow up on our action plans and any improvements/changes.

Desired qualifications and characteristics

· Experience in goods reception, warehousing, picking, and shipping.

· Knowledge of warehouse management [WMS] and motivation to optimize flow, utilization, and efficiency.

· Interest in and willingness to work with people and management.

· Understanding and improvement work.

· Technical understanding.
