Welcome to an inspiring lifestyle hotel with an atmosphere that promotes community, creativity, curiosity, and a spirit of adventure!
Downtown Camper offers not just a place to sleep and good food and drinks, but everything from yoga to explorations and inspirational lectures. Here, the meeting is in focus – the meeting between nature and the city, and between locals and visitors. We want the hotel to be a natural base camp for adventurous explorers. Those of us who work at Downtown Camper today believe we have a fun workplace, fantastic colleagues, good leadership, and a wonderful atmosphere. So, are you a social, nature-loving city person? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
We are now looking for a housekeeper for Downtown Camper by Scandic.
No matter why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team and create a world-class guest experience.
With us, you will take significant personal responsibility to make the decisions needed to satisfy the guest, and the teams develop and improve work methods and service as the world around us changes. We are convinced that it is when you get to develop and contribute all your skills and experience that we exceed the guest's expectations. On top of that, we have fun at work!
So bring your experiences, your commitment, and your way of thinking to us – and contribute to a culture where we truly care: about each other, our guests, and our planet. Welcome to Scandic!
What does the role entail?
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the important task of ensuring that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests feel a “wow” when they step into the hotel and their hotel room. The role includes cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, pantries, and common areas. You and your colleagues contribute to the general order in the hotel's premises, handle laundry, and replenish our supplies.
Who are you?
To thrive in this role, you need to be detail-oriented and have an eye for cleanliness. It is important that you have good physical health, are flexible, and have good teamwork skills as all employees together are responsible for the guest experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague. You have previous experience in cleaning, guest relations, and can communicate in Swedish. Since we use iPads, you need to have some computer skills. Previous hotel experience is an advantage.
Information about the position
The position is a permanent part-time role. We apply a probationary period of 6 months. The position includes day shifts on weekdays and weekends.
We only accept applications via our website. All applications will be processed continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline, so we ask you to apply as soon as possible. In this recruitment, we use a simple service test during the selection process.
We look forward to welcoming you to us at Scandic!
P.S. on our website, you can read more about our culture, what the position entails, and our benefits!
We go further when differences are embraced. With us, you have the space to be yourself and develop in the direction you want, with secure conditions and fair agreements as a foundation. Bring your experiences, your commitment, and your way of thinking to us - contribute to a culture where we truly care: about each other, our guests, and our planet. Welcome to Scandic.
