Summer Job as Stevedore at KBP in Karlskrona

Can you maneuver a forklift with precision and reverse with a trailer without any issues? Are you a team player who enjoys handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment? We are now looking for you to work with us at KBP in Karlskrona during the summer of 2026! For those who are already interested in part-time work, there is also an opportunity to start immediately if needed.

On behalf of our clients, primarily shipping companies and freight forwarders, we provide various services. As a stevedore, you will work with stevedoring services at the quay, cargo storage in the intermodal terminal, and work in our warehouse.

Some Responsibilities:

• Cargo handling (loading and unloading of vessels)
• Shunting of trailers and other goods
• Damage inspection of goods
• Maintenance and cleaning work in our facilities

Who Are You?

At KBP, your personality is just as important as your skills. Since we operate in a port with customers from all over Europe, you need to be a communicative person who is comfortable with the English language. We also believe that you have a strong interest in technology and vehicles. As a person, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is service-oriented with a good attitude. You deliver what you are supposed to and take responsibility for your work.

Your Must-Haves:

• Driver's license for passenger car (B)
• Driver's license for truck (C)
• Forklift license
• Knowledge of English, spoken and written.

Nice to Have but Not Required:

• License for truck with heavy trailer (CE)

The position is a seasonal job, from June to August 2026 with a chance for extension, and there is also an opportunity to start earlier. Our operations are conducted in shifts, so you need to be able to work all days – not at night. You are welcome to submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than March 1, 2026.
