Åkerblads Hotel & Inn is a family-owned business that has been in the family since the 15th century. Today, the 19th to 22nd generations of Åkerblad work with a strong team of 50 to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

Åkerblads Hotel & Inn consists of 73 unique and personally decorated guest rooms, as well as an Inn that offers locally produced high-quality ingredients for both weekend guests and conference guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development, where quality is one of the cornerstones.

Our latest addition to the company is our Spa department, where we offer 3 treatment rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own hot tub and sauna. The Spa department also features a newly built area with an outdoor spring and lounge area where the pool bar provides refreshment for guests. The gym, sauna, and exclusive changing rooms have now been joined by a brand new pool area with a hydromassage pool and swimming pool, as well as lovely relaxation areas.

Your Responsibilities...

As a skincare and spa therapist, you will work in our spa department performing treatments according to our SPA menu. Our SPA team works with products from Maria Åkerberg and BABOR; experience and knowledge of these products are considered advantageous but not a requirement. We also provide internal training on our treatment offerings and products.

Our clients are primarily hotel guests who visit our hotel and wish to enjoy relaxing treatments.

The role includes not only performing treatments but also product sales in our shop and providing refreshments to SPA guests in the waiting lounge.

Working hours are varied and adjusted according to the SPA department's opening hours.

As an employee at Åkerblads, we expect you to carry out your work with great commitment and creativity. Furthermore, you should have a pronounced sense of quality and service, as well as a genuine interest in working with people, especially our guests, but also with colleagues and staff.

You express energy through clear and dynamic body language and a positive aura. We believe you are full of ideas and have a great deal of curiosity.

We see that your formal background is as a licensed skincare and spa therapist. We prefer that you have experience in the fields of spa, wellness, or health, and it is important that you can take initiative and are willing to work weekends.

You communicate fluently in spoken Swedish and English.
