Åkerblads Hotell & Gästgiveri is a family-owned business that has been in the family since the 15th century. Today, the 19th-22nd generations of Åkerblad work with a strong team of 50 to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

Åkerblads Hotell & Gästgiveri consists of 73 unique and personally decorated guest rooms, as well as an Inn that offers locally produced high-quality ingredients for both weekend guests and conference attendees. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality is one of the cornerstones.

Our latest addition to the company is our Spa department where we offer 3 treatment rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own hot tub and sauna. The Spa department also features a newly built area with an outdoor spring and lounge area where the pool bar offers refreshments for guests. The gym, sauna, and exclusive changing rooms have been complemented by a brand new pool area.

Your Responsibilities...

As a Massage Therapist, you will work in our spa department performing treatments according to our SPA menu. Our SPA team works with products from Maria Åkerberg and BABOR; experience and knowledge of these products are considered an advantage but not a requirement. We provide internal training on our treatment offerings and products.

Our customers are primarily hotel guests who visit our hotel and wish to enjoy relaxing treatments.

The position also includes product sales in our shop, in addition to performing treatments.

Working hours are varied and adapted to the opening hours of the SPA department.

As an employee at Åkerblads, we expect you to carry out your work with great commitment and creativity. Furthermore, you should have a pronounced sense of quality and service, as well as a genuine interest in working with people, especially our guests, but also with colleagues and staff.

You express energy through clear and dynamic body language and a positive demeanor. We believe you are full of ideas and have a great deal of curiosity.

We see that your formal background is as a certified massage therapist. We prefer that applicants have experience in the spa, wellness, or health fields, and it is important that you can take the initiative and are willing to work weekends.
