Production Planner

About the role:

As a production planner, you are responsible for ensuring that production delivers customer products within the agreed lead time while optimizing the manufacturing process to achieve cost-effectiveness. You will be a key person in communication between different departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient production flows and keep production on track.

Main responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly manufacturing processes, including subcontracting work.
• Release orders to the planning system and be responsible for planning and managing trial orders and prototypes.
• Communicate delivery confirmations to customers and Global Planning.
• Ensure material needs and follow up on production status, including lead time changes.
• Work on improving key metrics and production flows.
• Participate in logistics projects and optimize inventory levels.
• Collaborate with buyers to manage material availability and shortages.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a university degree in industrial economics, logistics, or equivalent, or technical/economic education from high school.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Has good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
