Do you want to be part of our wonderful team and work in the fantastic environment of the Karlstad parish cemeteries? Within the administrative area, we manage the parish's nine cemeteries as well as the green areas around our churches and properties.

Job Responsibilities

The position includes all tasks related to the cemetery, such as care and maintenance of green areas and flower beds, as well as assisting with burials. The work is physically demanding and you will work with machine-driven tools, such as leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and lawn mowers.

You have a responsible approach to machines and equipment and handle them in a safe and careful manner.

Computer skills are a prerequisite as some administrative tasks are included in the job responsibilities. For the position, it is required that you can communicate in Swedish.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a cemetery or other green space work. We value qualities such as the ability to work both independently and together with your colleagues, as well as being a flexible person with good initiative and collaboration skills. You should be responsible and professional in your interactions with our visitors at the cemetery.

When filling the positions, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required; if you have other driving license qualifications, please specify them.

Conditions

We apply regulated working hours and flexible hours.

The season is from April to September with the possibility of extension.
