About the unit:
The Logistics Unit Stockholm is a unit at the Life Guards that supports military units from the operational locations of Stockholm, Solna, and Kungsängen.
The unit currently consists of a Staff, a Technical Department, a Supply Department in Stockholm, and a Supply Department in Kungsängen, as well as a Mobilization Department. The Logistics Unit contributes to a stronger defense force through well-functioning logistics, unit-near storage management, supply provision, and ordering of material maintenance in peace, during readiness increases, and in war. The Armed Forces, and especially the Logistics Unit Stockholm, are growing in several different areas.
As an employee of the Armed Forces, we offer:
- Three hours of physical training per week during working hours
- 28-35 vacation days/year depending on age
- Professional development based on the needs of the operations
Main tasks
Daily tasks at a goods reception and storage.
- Light sewing services on uniforms
- Receive goods, record and store them, and issue supplies
- Carry out actions on supplies according to applicable instructions
- Report supplies in the Armed Forces' accounting system
- Conduct transport of goods
- Some maintenance of vehicles and handling equipment
- Maintain contact with customers
- Fitting of uniforms
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- At least a completed three-year upper secondary education
- Driving license B (manual)
- Several years of work experience
- Very good experience working in digital environments
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone who is structured, organized, and has a sense of service. Meeting new people should be a given, and you can express yourself well in speech and writing. You will work in a team, so we prefer that you can collaborate well with others and have good camaraderie, but also be able to work independently and take your own initiatives and responsibility. As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, meticulous, and loyal. Personal qualities will be given great importance in the selection process.
Since there are horses and dogs on the premises, it is good if you do not have allergies.
Meritorious

- Good experience managing inventory balances and warehouse structures

The Life Guards is one of the largest units in the Armed Forces with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international missions. We guard the royal palaces, have security and ground combat units. We are also responsible for preserving and developing Swedish military music tradition. Our headquarters is in Kungsängen outside Stockholm, but we are also located in Sollentuna, central Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Karlskrona.
