We are looking for vacuum truck operators

SERWENT is your local contractor for water and sewage services. We have a turnover of around 350MSEK and employ 200 skilled staff in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Västerås, Uppsala, and Gävle. About the role

As a vacuum truck operator, you will remove various types of materials such as shavings, sand, and concrete from properties using vacuum technology. The waste is then transported to waste facilities.

All our operators work in pairs and manually handle the suction hose to suck up the material into the vacuum truck's tank. You and your colleague are responsible for the vehicle and handle customer contact on-site.

Working as a vacuum truck operator is a physically demanding and varied job involving heavy hoses and sometimes tight spaces. Therefore, it is advantageous to have good physical fitness and be used to rolling up your sleeves.

About you and what we are looking for

To succeed in the role of vacuum truck operator, it is beneficial to have previous experience in similar work. You have a B driver's license, and a C driver's license and a Professional Competence Certificate (YKB) are advantageous. The job involves some heavy lifting, so good physical condition is a plus.

In the role of vacuum truck operator, you will meet our customers on-site daily, and we believe you have a good sense of service and enjoy interacting with people.

As a person, you are stress-resistant, responsible, and used to taking your own initiative. As a driver, you are secure, safe, and can plan your driving well - both in terms of traffic safety and environmental impact.

The position is a permanent employment that starts with a 6-month probationary period. We conduct alcohol and drug tests upon hiring.
