As a unit manager within the Department of Children and Family, you will lead a socially important unit focused on processing parental insurance. With engaged and sustainable leadership in a changing environment, you will have the opportunity to make a difference. Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a unit manager, you are the manager who is closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as responsibility for results and follow-up for the teams in your unit.

Your unit consists of approximately 18 employees who work as case officers within parental insurance and are located in Jönköping. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management group, which, in addition to the area manager, consists of 10 unit managers and a controller. Here, you contribute with your expertise and commitment to develop the operations.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

The position is permanent and full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment.
