Älvdalen Municipality is now looking for dedicated summer substitutes for our operations in care and support as well as the food unit in Älvdalen, Särna, and Idre.
We are looking for you who
- are service-oriented and enjoy working with people
- have a positive attitude and are flexible
- have relevant experience or education for the position you are applying for
- are confident in the Swedish language in both speech and writing
- have basic computer skills as welfare technology is a natural part of the job.

Work in Care and Support
Here you can work in Home Care, Special Housing, LSS, or Housing Support in Idre, Särna, or Älvdalen
You will work with
- providing support, guidance, and care to the elderly and people with disabilities
- assisting with personal care
- documenting and managing medications
- planning and conducting daily activities.
To work with us in care
- you need a B driver's license if you want to work in home care
- you must be at least 18 years old (unless you are enrolled in a care and support program)
- experience in care work is an advantage.
Work in the Food Unit
Here you can work in our kitchens in either Idre, Särna, or Älvdalen
You will work with
- making salads and cooking
- receiving food deliveries
- washing dishes, cleaning, and performing other tasks in the kitchen
- conducting self-control
- driving the food truck.
To work with us in food
- you must be able to work efficiently and follow hygiene regulations
- experience in kitchen work is an advantage.
Good to know

To work in our operations, you need to have an approved extract from the criminal record.
The positions are summer substitutes for full or part-time with a fixed-term employment where both monthly salary and hourly wage may apply.
There are good opportunities for continued work even after summer.
Working hours are irregular and vary between day, evening, and weekend. In some operations, night and sleeping on-call shifts are included in the schedule.
Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
