Property Manager Wanted at Vara Bostäder

In Vara municipality, Vara Bostäder owns and manages approximately 630 rental apartments as well as some commercial premises. The colleagues who welcome you in Vara are a small and tight-knit team where decisions are made quickly. You will be highly involved in the continued development of the business, and your ideas will be appreciated!

As a property manager at Vara Bostäder, you will be the one keeping an eye on the property and providing a significant part of the service to our tenants. Your main tasks will include troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving issues that arise in our customers' apartments.

Along with problem-solving and practical work in the field, the position also includes administrative elements. You will work in several different systems that simplify case and invoice management. You will document cases, order repairs, and check invoices, which is easier if you feel comfortable working on a computer. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to ensure that the service to our tenants continues to be of a high standard!

Your tasks include:

• building and maintaining good relationships with tenants and reporting tenant feedback
• conducting rounds to prevent service requests and ensure cleanliness
• working with outdoor environments
• planning and executing repairs and ongoing maintenance
• handling service requests, complaints, and claims, as well as providing feedback to tenants
• ordering and following up on property supplies and minor contracting work
• overseeing ventilation, heating, and electrical systems in our properties

Education and Experience

We are looking for someone with a high school education, preferably with a focus on or further training in technology and/or property management. Experience in plumbing, apartment inspections, systematic fire protection work (SBA), round work, or electrical work is an advantage. You should be comfortable working with computer systems. A driver's license (B) is required.
