Assistant Store Manager at Plantagen – Lead closely, create results and growth joy!

We are now looking for an Assistant Store Manager who, together with the store manager, will lead the store towards strong results and high customer satisfaction.

Your Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are the store manager's closest partner and an important part of the store's management team. You have a clear operational presence in the store and lead by being a role model in both customer interactions and daily work. When the store manager is absent, you have overall responsibility for operations, staffing, and monitoring the store's key performance indicators.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, allocate, and follow up on daily work in the store
  • Coach, inspire, and develop employees towards set goals
  • Ensure an inspiring and consistent customer experience
  • Actively work with sales, customer satisfaction, and the store's KPIs
  • Ensure structure, efficient operations, and adherence to routines
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and skills development
  • Work systematically and preventively with work environment and safety
  • Be an active part of the daily work on the sales floor

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has documented experience (3–5 years) in retail
  • Has previous leadership experience, such as team leader or department manager
  • Is service-oriented, solution-focused, and confident in your leadership
  • Is structured, responsible, and results-oriented
  • Thrives in an operational role where the pace is high and days vary
  • Has good IT skills, including Excel and business systems

Leadership training and education or experience in sales, visual merchandising, or work environment are advantageous.

You are a present leader who leads through engagement, clarity, and decisiveness. You enjoy making deals, creating structure, and building strong teams – always with the customer in focus.
