Lärkvägen Home Care consists of several different teams, with the areas Hemsjö and Tuve being some of them. The teams consist of a total of 33 employees of varying ages and different work experiences. The teams operate from the office at Lärkvägen 4, and we primarily use cars and bicycles to reach our clients. Our geographical area of operation includes Tuve, Ödenäs, Hemsjö, Ingared, and Västra Bodarna.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In our operations at Lärkvägen Home Care, we work from a salutogenic perspective, which means that we focus on the resources and abilities that the client has. We adapt support, care, and nursing based on individual needs.

In your role as a nursing assistant, you will work independently but also collaborate with your colleagues in your team and, if necessary, in nearby teams to achieve the organization's goals. You will work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and perform delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The tasks vary depending on the client's needs. You will primarily work with good care, service, and social interaction, but also with documentation, planning, health and medical tasks, and development work. We drive or cycle between our clients.

As a nursing assistant, you are flexible and responsible, as your workdays involve everything from alarm management, commitments as a primary care contact, administering medication according to prescriptions, daily care, and support, to sitting down and talking for a while with someone in need. You are, together with your colleagues, the key person around the client, and you work together to create a good life for the individual.

You will also be present as a primary care contact during welcome conversations, establish and update implementation plans, maintain contact with relatives and other professionals, and document according to applicable legislation in our operational system.

Much has also happened in terms of digitalization for home care in recent years, and we predominantly work through our work mobiles. In the mobile app, staff can see their daily schedule, sign for medications, and document important events in our journal system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title
• Is well acquainted with digital platforms, follows workplace action plans, policies, and guidelines, as well as the Social Services Act's paragraph SoL §1:1.
• Holds a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have additional training, for example in dementia, that the employer assesses as relevant, as well as experience in elderly care with a focus on dementia or psychogeriatrics. Experience in other relevant assignments or roles as a nursing assistant is also advantageous.

To thrive in the role, you are confident and act responsibly and independently with a clear client focus. You act according to made decisions, plans, and guidelines, and contribute to their establishment and follow-up. You have a good attitude towards those you meet, enjoy creating new and good relationships, and have good collaboration skills. You are also interested in continuing to build our operations and are flexible in changing circumstances in your work.
