We are looking for a versatile employee to join our production team! With us, you will work centrally in Stockholm with a modern machine park. You will work in a group with many years of experience in the industry.

Universitetsservice US-AB was founded in 1999 with a focus on Digital printing. We are a modern company with 14 employees where we produce a wide range of printed materials directly on-site in Stockholm. Our printed materials are distributed to both private individuals and local businesses as well as to universities and global corporations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work with various finishing tasks in our production, with the main task being perfect binding.

The daily work will mainly consist of perfect binding, cutting, laminating, packing, wire-o binding, machine maintenance, receiving deliveries, and keeping the storage areas organized.

The production currently consists of 6 employees where you are often the last step in the work process. This can lead to a high pace at times to meet deadlines.

You should be able or willing to learn all the tasks performed in the printing house, such as creasing, folding, hole drilling, picking, etc.

We work with finishing machines from leading suppliers such as Horizon, Polar, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good experience in graphic finishing or a strong willingness to learn.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

• Good written English skills.

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

• Education and/or experience in graphic production.

• Experience in various tasks in a printing house.

• Knowledge of machines and graphic technology.

REQUIREMENTS

You should be able to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in a pleasant and efficient manner.

The tasks also require high stress tolerance, and to thrive in the role you need to be meticulous and quality-conscious.

The position requires you to be self-driven with a very high sense of responsibility. Since the position requires regular heavy lifting, it is good if you are in good physical shape and not afraid to take on challenges.

We will place great emphasis on previous experience and personal qualities.

OTHER

Employment type: Permanent position with a six-month probationary period.

Work location: Östermalm, Stockholm

Working hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri 8-16:30

Start date: By agreement.
