The inpatient care department within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Sundsvall. Here, children and adolescents up to 18 years old are treated for severe or acute psychiatric conditions requiring psychiatric inpatient care. Patients can be treated under HSL or LPT. They are cared for together with their guardians. The department employs caregivers, nurses, and doctors. Social workers, psychologists, educators, dietitians, and physiotherapists are part of the team caring for the patient.

We are now looking for two caregivers to join our team in Sundsvall. The positions are permanent, full-time, with start dates to be agreed upon.

Caregivers for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Care, Sundsvall

• Psychiatric nursing work, monitoring health status, assessing care needs, and conducting support conversations.
• Documentation of nursing observations.
• Responsible for supervision and being available for patients and guardians.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant or has other relevant education suitable for psychiatric nursing work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has a valid driver’s license (B)

It is an advantage if you

• Have work experience in psychiatry
• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have additional language skills
