About the Organization

The Property Department is part of the Operations and Service Administration in Hallsberg Municipality. Within the administration, we are responsible for the municipality's property management, cleaning, meal services, water and sewage operations, as well as streets and parks.

As a property technician, you will be part of the property department where we manage a total of approximately 110,000 square meters. The portfolio includes both premises used within our own operations as well as housing and cultural properties. With us, there is breadth!

As a property technician, you will be an important cog in the property department's work to effectively, wisely, and sustainably care for and manage the municipality's property portfolio. Job Responsibilities

As a property technician with us, you will, in close collaboration with the rest of our department, be responsible for the technical operations in your management area. You are an extremely important representative for the municipality and provide the highest service to our tenants.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Conduct daily inspections, rounds, operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the properties' technical systems and installations such as locks/alarms, ventilation, heating, sanitation control and regulation, as well as access/burglary alarms and fire alarms, etc.
• Work with maintenance; both preventive and corrective
• Plan, coordinate, and perform operational technical work, as well as ensure contractors' performance
• Address deficiencies or point out deficiencies in property operations and suggest improvements
• Maintain contact with contractors in smaller maintenance projects
• Contribute to maintenance planning and participate in internal improvement work, e.g., based on politically set goals
• Participate in authority inspections
• Report time and work in our property system

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with property technician education or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position, preferably with a few years of experience in property repairs. Experience in the tasks mentioned above is considered meritorious. We prefer that you are technically interested and have good knowledge of property operations and maintenance. You should have basic computer skills. The job requires a B driver's license.
