Logistics Officer at the Swedish Armed Forces

Main Responsibilities

As a logistics officer at our staff, you will work broadly with several components of logistics. The work involves a lot of planning, evaluation, and prerequisite-creating activities for the unit's logistics components. You will also participate as a natural part of our growth. You will lead logistics preparations and participate in the staff's joint work. The position also includes providing support to the unit's leaders in logistics-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Officer's degree, at least S07 or OF2
  • Relevant education within the Swedish Armed Forces logistics
  • Good computer skills and administrative ability
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Previous experience in a leadership position in logistics units within the Swedish Armed Forces or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience of staff work in the Swedish Armed Forces or relevant corresponding work experience in another organization.
  • Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces systems LIFT and PRIO

Other

The employment is a full-time permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period. The position includes an international work obligation and a duty to be placed in wartime. Work location is Örebro, travel may occur in the position.
