Command and Control Systems Officer at the Swedish Armed Forces

Main Responsibilities
As a Command and Control Systems Officer, you will be part of the unit's command systems department and will participate in the planning and execution of both exercises and daily operations. You will collaborate and coordinate with other units and departments to coordinate activities in the areas of communication and command support systems. As the department is in an expansive phase, you will represent the department in various project groups where you will sometimes lead projects in the form of tests and validations, ultimately training and implementing relevant systems broadly within the unit. You will also support in the area of signal protection with the management of systems, signal protection keys, and training as needed. Additionally, you will actively work to develop the unit's command capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Swedish citizenship
- Driving license B
- Specialist officer exam SO 6-7, or officer exam OF 1-2
- Good ability to express oneself in spoken and written Swedish and English
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is structured and can work independently towards the department's specified tasks and goals. You need to be proactive and collaborative with other employees at various levels and functions. Building and maintaining good relationships is crucial for achieving success. You will have high trust in solving your assigned tasks.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Education in command/communication
- Basic officer training at LedSS/FMTIS
- Signal protection training, such as signal protection instructor, signal protection chief, or training on the Swedish Armed Forces' most commonly used signal protection systems
- Good ability to handle IT systems
- Experience in training
- Experience in communication operations management
Other
- The position is a full-time permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those not employed in the Swedish Armed Forces
- Work location: Örebro
- Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement
- Travel in service may occur
