We are now looking for several terminal officers for our terminal in Visby for the 2026 season.

With us, you will become an important part of the operation during the peak season and contribute to ensuring that our travelers have a safe, smooth, and pleasant experience.

About the seasonal work

As a terminal officer, you will work closely with both travelers and colleagues at a varied pace. The tasks vary and may include:

• Ticket booking and customer support via phone, email, and chat.
• Checking tickets and discount cards in connection with the departures of the vessels.
• Receiving vessels upon arrival at the port. Assisting with escorting, internal mail, and baggage handling.
• Cashier work, including ticket booking, selling discount cards, and other cashier-related matters.

Training

At Destination Gotland, we are responsible for one of Sweden's most important routes – the sea route between Gotland and the mainland. Our fast ferries create opportunities for both passengers and freight traffic to travel efficiently between Gotland and the mainland, on the routes Visby – Nynäshamn or Visby – Oskarshamn.

We have operated the Gotland traffic since 1998 and are proud of the trust. Formally, the assignment is from the Transport Administration, but in many ways, the assignment is also from the Gotland community. We see it as our task to contribute to the development of Gotland by always leading the way and creating opportunities for everyone who wants to travel to and from our island.
