Customer Service Representative – Gotlandsbuss

Gotlandsbuss is an important part of Gotland's community service. Every day, we help travelers get to work, school, leisure activities, and back home. Our customer service plays a central role in this work, serving as the hub where information, service, and traffic meet.

We are now looking for a customer service representative for Visby bus station.

Employment and assignment

You will be employed by Gotlandsbuss AB, but the main work assignment is performed for our client within the Gotland public transport system. The role therefore involves close collaboration with both the Gotlandsbuss organization and external traffic functions.

Job responsibilities

As a customer service representative, you are often the first point of contact for our travelers. You handle both direct inquiries and more complex cases via phone, customer service desk, and digital channels.

Your tasks include, among others:

  • Handling incoming calls according to customer service agreements
  • Registration and follow-up of customer cases in Infracontrol and PeekaBoo
  • Staffing the customer service desk during opening hours
  • Handling and organizing lost property, including contact with the police if necessary
  • Sales of tickets and customer cards
  • Publishing disruption messages when situations arise.
  • Ongoing cash reporting
  • Follow-up and registration of trips that have not been driven or have not passed stops, in the deviation management system

The work is varied, customer-oriented, and involves both routine tasks and situations that require quick assessment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in service professions or customer service work
  • Good communication skills and comfortable phone etiquette
  • Good computer skills and the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

  • Experience in public transport, logistics, or other community service
  • Experience with case management systems, preferably Infracontrol
  • Cash handling experience or administrative experience

  • Structured and meticulous, especially in case management and cash processes
  • Calm and stress-resistant, as the workload can vary
  • Responsible and self-driven
  • Cooperative, with good communication skills with colleagues and other functions

Location and extent

The position is located at Visby bus station.

Extent: Full-time, 100%

Employment form: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period
