Do you want to lead a destination where guest experiences, business development, and leadership go hand in hand? At First Camp, you have the opportunity to combine business acumen, service, and leadership in a role with great responsibility and variety. Here, you will drive, develop, and influence your destination – with a focus on results, guest satisfaction, and team development – in a company that is constantly growing and changing.
Who is First Camp?First Camp is Northern Europe's leading camping company with over 70 destinations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Germany.
What does the role entail? As a Destination Manager, you will have a role with significant responsibility, variety, and real impact. You will lead the entirety of your destination – people, operations, and results – and be the hub that makes everything work together. The role is as much about creating order and structure as it is about building engagement, driving business, and developing both the operations and the employees.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading, recruiting, and developing employees while ensuring staffing, onboarding, and a safe work environment.
Driving daily operations efficiently and structurally, focusing on quality, service, and guest experience.
Being responsible for budget, KPIs, and results – including sales to both private and corporate customers.
Initiating and executing local activities and collaborations that strengthen revenue, occupancy, and guest value.
Working with business development, pricing, and packaging in collaboration with support offices and colleagues.
Being visible in the operations and coaching the team in hospitality, reception, and service – from first impressions to departure.
Contributing to the chain's development by sharing experiences, participating in concept work, and acting as a mentor when needed.
Collaborating with the Regional Manager and central functions to ensure alignment, structure, and results.
The role requires presence, engagement, and clear leadership – but also curiosity, initiative, and the desire to always find ways forward.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for a driven and business-oriented leader with a genuine interest in people and service. You thrive in a role where you can combine strategy and operations, inspire others, and create both results and a pleasant atmosphere.
With clarity, engagement, and a holistic perspective, you lead your destination towards common goals – creating an environment where both guests and employees feel welcome, seen, and proud.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility, preferably from the hospitality industry, service, retail, or hotels.
Good understanding of finance, business development, and sales.
Ability to drive change, develop teams, and create engagement.
Very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
Good system skills and the ability to work structured even in a fast-paced environment.
Driver's license and the ability to use the destination's vehicle for work.
Experience in recruitment, budget work, B2B sales, or local business collaboration is an advantage.
As a person, you are a present and secure leader with the ability to make decisions close to the operations. You see opportunities where others see obstacles, create clarity and energy in the team, and drive improvements that make a difference for both guests and employees.
Above all, you have a genuine commitment to people – and are driven by building a culture where responsibility, pride, and joy at work go hand in hand.
What do we offer? With us, you will be part of an ambitious company with both heart and forward momentum. The role gives you the opportunity to influence, develop, and grow – while working closely with both people and operations.
Our shared values guide our daily actions:
