Klässbols school is a small and family-oriented school, located about 18 km south of Arvika, surrounded by beautiful nature.

It is a warm and safe working environment where everyone knows each other. As a chef at Klässbols school, you will be an important part of the students' everyday life, contributing to a safe and pleasant mealtime where you ensure that students are full, satisfied, and ready for play and learning.

About the position

You will work in a team of two in a production kitchen. Together with your chef colleague, you will prepare approximately 170 portions daily for the students at the school and the adjacent preschool, Bäckleken.

The position is a permanent employment at 80% with a temporary employment contract.

Qualifications

You are a trained chef at the high school level or have other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have good knowledge of self-control and food hygiene, and we prefer that you have experience with similar tasks in restaurants or large-scale kitchens. It is also desirable that you have previous experience with the dietary software Mashie and special diets.

As a person, you are responsible, independent, flexible, and have good teamwork skills. A positive attitude and a good approach towards colleagues and guests come naturally to you. Being service-oriented with the customer in focus is a given, and we will place importance on personal suitability.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks consist of 60% preparation of lunch and salad as well as breakfast and snacks for the school and preschool. The students at Klässbols school eat their meals in the dining hall, which is directly adjacent to the kitchen, so preparation, serving, and dishwashing are included in the tasks. We also send food to a preschool located near the school. Preparation of special diets is included in the tasks, as well as performing self-control, cleaning, and certain administrative tasks such as planning and ordering supplies. The position also includes 20% cleaning at Bäckleken preschool, which is located near the school.
