About the roleResponsibilities

As Operations Manager at KICKS' highly automated warehouse, you will play a central role in leading and developing their operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, while working closely with staff to create a positive and safe working environment. The role is part of the local management team and reports to the Head of Omni SE Warehouse Operation. The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Lead and develop the operational warehouse activities in line with the company's growth and changes

  • Ensure that the working environment is safe and pleasant for all employees

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff

  • Conduct development talks, health and rehabilitation discussions, and workplace meetings

  • Work on implementing and following up on the company's values and goals

  • Be a role model and ambassador for the company's values

  • Collaborate with other functions to optimize warehouse processes and flows

  • Implement and monitor set KPIs daily that support the overall goals of the operation

Working hours: The work mainly involves daytime hours but evening and weekend work may occur as needed. However, you mainly control the scheduling yourself.

Employment type: The position is a permanent full-time employment with a standard six-month probation period.

Start date: Immediately or as agreed.

Requirements and qualitiesRequirements
  • Several years of experience working in larger organizations and fast-paced environments

  • Documented experience in leading and developing staff

  • Experienced in conducting recruitment, health and rehabilitation discussions, and development talks

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with employees

  • Clear yet empathetic leadership

  • Ability to work both tactically and operationally to achieve set goals

  • Experience in collaborating and working with changes in a warehouse organization

  • Experience with automation facilities as well as systems and processes and their interplay
