About the job

As a mechanic at Scania in Harstad, you will work in a modern workshop equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, well-organized work processes, and strong technical support from Scania.

You will work with:

• Service and maintenance of Scania trucks and buses

• Troubleshooting with modern diagnostic systems

• Repairs of drivetrains, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulics

• Preparation and inspection of vehicles for customers in transport, industry, and public services

We are looking for someone who

You don’t have to be a “super mechanic” – but you should be confident in your profession and enjoy working with heavy vehicles.

We prefer that you have:

• Experience as a mechanic, preferably with trucks, buses, construction machinery, or heavy vehicles

• Professional certification or relevant education is a plus

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks

• Basic English or Scandinavian language skills
