Do you want to work at one of Sweden's sharpest editorial teams and make a difference with your journalism? Apply to Nerikes Allehanda, which is looking for several reporters for summer internships.

NA is one of Sweden's largest local newspapers. The editorial team has received several awards for courageous investigations and has also been named Newspaper of the Year and Editorial Team of the Year. In addition to the newspaper published seven days a week and an aggressive news website, the editorial team works with TV, podcasts, and social media.

We are looking for someone who is socially aware, curious, and has good journalistic judgment. We are primarily seeking reporters for the desk, news, local editorial teams, sports, and entertainment. You should be able to write and photograph. It is a plus if you have experience working digitally and with TV.

Qualifications: A journalism degree and experience working at a news editorial team is a significant advantage. A driver's license is required for all positions that involve fieldwork. Most internships are for 8–10 weeks, starting in mid-June. Some internships start earlier or end later. Some positions involve shift work (morning, evening, weekend). Do not wait to apply; hiring is ongoing. Applications should include a CV, the roles you are applying for, which locations you are interested in, and which weeks you are available.

Here you can listen to Bonnier News' podcast Drömjobbet, where two former summer interns share why local newspapers are such a great training ground for young journalists and how to get the most out of your summer internship: "There is an incredibly large amount of expertise within the walls of local newspapers."
