Baker Wanted at Stora Coop Lund

We are looking for a baker in the in-store bakery at Stora Coop Lund. Do you want to help create the freshest, most inspiring, and sales-driven bakery department in the area? If your answer is yes, then we think you should apply!

Job Responsibilities:

As a baker/pastry chef with us, your tasks will include producing bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies, as well as displaying them in manual counters. You will largely be responsible for driving the bakery's assortment forward and successfully. At the same time, you have an important role in delivering world-class customer service.

Your work will also include:

• Helping to create a sales-oriented and inspiring environment within the bakery
• Ensuring compliance with Coop's sustainability policy

The position is a permanent employment of 30 hours/week. A probationary period may apply.

Qualifications:

• Trained pastry chef or baker
• Experience and competence in retail sales (meritorious)
• Documented experience from a pastry shop/bakery (meritorious)

As a baker/pastry chef, you should have a passion for sales and a strong commitment to the store's entire bread sales and expression. You are a person with initiative and strong positive energy that is contagious, who sees the customer's needs and happily provides the best customer service. Furthermore, you have the ability to handle stressful situations.
