About the Role

In Kalmar, we work with service and repair of various types of trains, where mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics meet in a varied and practical job. Here you will have the opportunity to develop in a technical environment where no day is the same. You don’t need to know everything from the start – we offer a solid introduction and internal training. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in technology, enjoy solving problems, and thrive on collaborating with others. Your willingness to learn is what matters most!

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and patient. You are practically inclined, curious, and enjoy tinkering, exploring, and understanding how things work. Previous education or qualifications are not a requirement – we will teach you everything you need to succeed with us.

Your Profile

Attention to detail and responsibility are crucial in our work as safety is always a priority. Therefore, we are looking for a team player with a strong safety mindset, who also has the ability to work independently when needed. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, which is important for effective communication within the team and to follow instructions.

We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and a desire to learn. Perhaps you have experience as a mechanic, technician, electrician, or repairer – but this is not a requirement. Your curiosity, attitude, and drive to develop are what count the most. You are a responsible team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive work environment. If you have electrical training or experience working with electricity, it is an advantage. Knowledge of reading electrical diagrams is also advantageous and valuable in the role. But the most important thing is that you have a burning interest in technology, an eye for detail, and a strong safety mindset. Your willingness to learn and develop makes a difference with us.
