Combat Control Officer Wanted for the Flotilla Staff's Implementation Section, Helicopter Wing

About the Position

Responsibilities:
As a combat control officer at the helicopter wing's staff, you belong to the implementation section A3. Your tasks include planning, execution, and combat leadership of the Helicopter Wing's operations. There are good opportunities to influence the directions of the work as well as good opportunities for personal development in the position.

The position of combat control officer is located within the Helicopter Wing's implementation department (A3) in Linköping. The department is responsible for leading the unit's production within the Helicopter Wing, directing the wing's missions and readiness assignments. The implementation department consists of about 40 people divided into four sections where you will be part of the implementation section.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the Helicopter Wing's units during military operations or support to society
• Coordinate planning and execution of regular operations
• Act as the unit's point of contact (POC)
• Represent the unit, within the framework of your own function, towards external parties
• Serve as VB (Duty Officer) at the Helicopter Wing

Several other tasks will be added, and the work requires initiative, problem-solving ability, and the willingness to see and understand what needs to be done.

Qualifications

• Specialist officer OR7
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Experience from 3-function (OPS) and secondarily 2/5-function (UND/Plans)
• Previous service within the Helicopter Wing
• Experience in helicopter operations
• Previous international service
• Previous service as VB

As an individual, you have a knack for organizing, prioritizing, and structuring tasks, even when conditions are inadequate or change. You solve your tasks carefully and responsibly with a strong focus on results. Through your previous experience, you have an understanding of different functions within the army, air force, or navy.

The work requires you to be very proactive and have the ability to independently see and solve problems. As a person, you are social, unpretentious, and easy to collaborate with. You have the ability to solve your tasks even under time pressure or when other external factors affect the resolution of the task.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
