Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a café assistant during the spring and summer season of 2026. As a café assistant, you will be involved in the service and development of the café in close collaboration with the café manager and other staff in the village. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the best service and has a great talent for creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist with all ongoing tasks in the café such as customer service, receiving deliveries, dishwashing, cleaning, laundry, some baking, and preparing sandwiches, etc.
Qualifications
- You should have a strong interest in customer service and preferably in baking with organic ingredients where seasonal produce is utilized (berries, fruits, vegetables, etc.).
- As a person, you should be organized and enjoy providing good service.
- You should be able to work quickly without compromising quality, always keeping Stensjö's best interests in mind.
- You can work both independently and intensively when required, and also collaborate with other colleagues.
- Interest in cultural environments and traditional baking and cooking practices is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. Other languages are a plus.
- A valid driver's license (B) is required, and you must be at least 18 years old.
Employment
Tilias café is open on weekends starting from week 8. From May, the café will be open Wednesday to Sunday until August 30, and then on weekends.
It is an advantage if you can work the entire summer season. Since the summer months are our peak season, we do not offer longer continuous leave. The work involves scheduled working hours, including weekends and public holidays. The position is a seasonal employment with hourly pay.
