Saint-Gobain Sweden, Isover is looking for a Mechanic for our Maintenance Department in Billesholm.

About the position

In the role of Mechanic, the tasks are primarily related to preventive and corrective maintenance. As a mechanic, you will be part of our maintenance team alongside Mechanics, Electrical and Automation, Media, and Process teams. The tasks include troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of our production equipment and machines. An important part of the mechanic role is to participate in improvement work and projects within the framework of Isover's WCM structure (World Class Manufacturing) focusing on loss reduction and operator maintenance projects.

Your profile

We see that you, as an applicant, are mechanically skilled, have a strong interest in technology, and enjoy solving problems. As a mechanic at Isover, you will work closely with your colleagues in Maintenance while creating a close collaboration with the production staff on our lines. To succeed in the role, it is therefore important that you have good teamwork skills and are communicative. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently, take initiative, and are meticulous and safety-conscious in your way of working.

We are looking for someone who has:

Technical education at least at the high school level or equivalent
Experience in similar tasks within an industrial or process environment
Good computer skills (preferably if you have worked in SAP)
Very good knowledge of Swedish
