About the Position

We need you who want to work occasionally at night when our regular night staff want to take time off.

As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you will play a significant role in the lives of our residents. You will perform the usual tasks for a nursing assistant or caregiver. Care for residents during the night. Delegation from a nurse regarding medication is also something you will perform when the time comes. This is a part-time position where shifts are offered based on the needs of the operation. The position suits you who are looking for flexible work and want to contribute when the need arises.

Please note that Blidösundsgården is located on Blidö, an island in the beautiful Norrtälje archipelago. To get here easily, you need to have a driver's license and access to a car.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Usual tasks for a nursing assistant/caregiver.
• Care for residents.
• Documentation.
• Cleaning and laundry.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a trained nursing assistant with a certificate for protected professional title to be employed as a nursing assistant - otherwise, you will be employed as a caregiver where training is not a requirement.
• Have good computer skills as documentation and signing are done digitally.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Have a driver's license and access to your own car.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working in elderly care.
• Experience with mental health issues and dementia diseases.

As a person, you are flexible and secure. You have empathy in your interactions with others and a genuine interest in working in the profession. You have good teamwork skills, are used to taking responsibility, and handling stressful situations.

About Us

We welcome you to Blidösundsgården. We have 14 apartments with staffing around the clock, year-round. The staff group consists of 14 employees day and night. The residence has its own chef. Our goal is to create homes that we ourselves would choose to live in. We offer you a stimulating job with many memorable meetings with our elderly residents and their relatives. We work in a secure team with employees who have worked with us for a long time. Common to all our residences is that they are run with commitment and warmth.
