ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for two park workers focused on lawn mowing and maintenance of playgrounds in Eskilstuna municipality. The positions are part of the ongoing operation and maintenance of the municipality's green areas and public environments. The work is practical, physically demanding, and performed outdoors during the season in all kinds of weather.

You will be working in a public environment and are expected to engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner.

In this role, you will be involved in lawn mowing and finishing, maintenance of fall surfaces, and supervision of playgrounds. You are also expected to participate in other common tasks within park maintenance as needed. The work is both independent and collaborative with colleagues, requiring responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work according to established routines.

Work Period

May 4 – November 6, 2026.

Responsibilities

- Lawn mowing and finishing

- Maintenance and supervision of playgrounds

- Care of green areas

- Other common tasks within park maintenance

Requirements

- At least one summer season of experience in park work or equivalent experience

- B driver's license

- Experience with machinery

- Certificate for Work on Roads (APV 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3)

- Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Working Hours

Weekdays 07:00–16:00.
