Just 150 meters from Linköping Central Station lies Scandic Frimurarehotellet – the hotel where tradition meets the future. Located right next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings, our modern and relaxed hotel has roots dating back to 1912. The hotel is the largest in Östergötland and hosts everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets.
We have nearly a hundred employees from all over the world, just like our guests. Being a large hotel with three Scandic hotels in Linköping under common management provides excellent development opportunities for our staff.
We are now looking for a Shift Leader in Housekeeping for Scandic Frimurarehotellet.

What does the role of Shift Leader Housekeeping entail?
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the important task of ensuring the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests feel a “wow” when they enter the hotel and their rooms. Your main tasks include cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, pantries, and common areas of the hotel. You will handle laundry and replenish supplies. Of course, you will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.
As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for hospitality for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operations, you will have an overall view of the workflow in the team. You will work with the team to prioritize tasks so that operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You will lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift.
If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel, and you will also relieve the Housekeeping Manager of certain administrative tasks.
Who are you?
To fit this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in guest relations and service operations. You have both the ability and desire to work with hands-on leadership. You are confident in your leadership and can express yourself well in Swedish.
To thrive in this role, you also need to be meticulous and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have good physical fitness, are flexible, and have good collaboration skills, as all employees together are responsible for the guest experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague.
However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit this role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
Information about the position:
The position is a permanent part-time employment. We apply a probationary period. Your immediate supervisor will be our Housekeeping Manager. The position involves day shifts on weekdays and weekends. Start date as soon as possible.
