We are now looking for you who want to be a part of ABB – based in Umeå or Luleå.
We are growing and are now seeking service technicians/engineers who want to join us on our journey. With us, you will have an exciting everyday life where you combine advanced technical problem-solving with close customer relationships. You will be a key person in a team working with the latest technology in drive systems – while also having great opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.
Our service operations are in strong growth, and our customers are primarily in the energy, process, and manufacturing industries. The stationing location is Luleå or Umeå, but travel within Sweden and internationally may occur for those who want to broaden their experiences.

Your responsibilities
- Maintenance, commissioning, modernization, and optimization of ABB's frequency converters and rectifiers in our customers' facilities
- Conduct measurements and analyze data to suggest appropriate maintenance actions
- Work with AC and DC drive systems and participate in our project deliveries
- Responsible for the implementation of our service agreements
- Collaborate closely with our product companies and take part in the latest technology
- Development through ABB Motion's competency ladder and personal certification programs
- Opportunity to work internationally within ABB's global organization
- Be close to the customer and work directly on-site to understand their needs and build long-term relationships
Your background
- High school education or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics/Automation
- Experience in installation and good competence in control and regulation technology
- Knowledge in electrical power is an advantage
- Plus if you have worked in the process, mining, or paper industry, energy companies, or similar
- Good computer skills (MS Office, analysis, and reporting tools) – not required but advantageous
- Business-minded and driven to develop and solve customer needs
- Social and relationship-building – you thrive in meeting people
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driver's license B
