We are currently looking for a nurse for our stroke unit!

Description

Ward 9 is a medical ward focused on stroke/TIA.

In recent years, the ward has received awards for excellent stroke care from the Stroke Association and was named Stroke Unit of the Year in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. For us, good collaboration is important as we work in teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, secretaries, and others around the patient. The ward also works with continuous development, which contributes to your work being perceived as stimulating and challenging. Additionally, we highly value quality and aim for all staff to have specialist competence in stroke; we also offer internal training such as the stroke competence certificate.

We have new, fresh facilities and can offer a good working environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse on the medical ward, you have the opportunity to influence and make a difference for the patient in your daily work. You will closely collaborate with both nursing assistants, doctors, and rehabilitation staff to create good care for the patient. The ward works on the continuous development of each individual employee's personal competence.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with some years of experience, and are interested in stroke care. You want to work in a changing environment, where you and the team drive patient-centered development. You are also motivated to take and receive responsibility in the role of a nurse. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail, as you will be working with varying tasks. You have a good attitude, are innovative, and take initiative.

Clinical Foundation Year

For newly graduated nurses/radiology nurses, a Clinical Foundation Year is included in the first year of your permanent employment. The Clinical Foundation Year includes lectures, process-oriented nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. It also includes shadowing in other departments to give you a broader understanding of the hospital where you work. This is an initiative to provide you with the opportunity to further develop in your profession and build your professional identity.
