Industrial Mechanic Wanted!

In production, projects are continuously underway to develop the machines, and as a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repairs, and ongoing development and safety of our machinery. We are now expanding our Maintenance Department, and therefore we are looking for someone who wishes to work weekend shifts.

About the Position

As an Industrial Mechanic with us, you will primarily work on repairing production machines and manufacturing components and parts for them. You will participate in projects, work on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. The role also involves some responsibility for ordering spare parts and coordinating services from external contractors.

You will be part of a maintenance team that has extensive experience, broad expertise, and a focus on collaborating to solve everyday problems as well as the most challenging maintenance tasks. During the weekend shift, an industrial mechanic works alongside an industrial electrician, but the training period will take place during morning and afternoon shifts. You will work closely with the production operators, many of whom have extensive experience and can be of great help. Since this position is active during the weekend, there is less contact with the machine's Production Managers and potential external suppliers, but this can still occur, which is facilitated by good communication and dialogue. As the machines handle various types of materials, attention to detail and an understanding of the entire process from start to finished product are required.

This position is a permanent employment, and the role works weekend shifts.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a technical workshop education or equivalent. Experience in industrial repair work, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry, is an advantage. Knowledge of pneumatics and skills in sheet metal and welding are also advantageous. You should have a few years of experience as the job will require independence, as the role will be the sole mechanic during the work shift.
